In Haslemere our candidate for @SurreyCouncil is the energetic and dynamic Ged Hall, President of the Rugby Club and a resident of 20 years. He will be a fantastic councillor!
Important! #HaslemereHelp is a neighbourhood group that was set up to help those in need. It remains peer to peer; #volunteers came from every part of the community.
It is NOT part of any manifesto, nor does it have any potential councillor on board.

Lockdown was imposed on the 23rd of March - an entire 10 days after a few of us got together to form #HaslemereHelp from the ‘ground up’
We are still here but #volunteer times are dwindling/changing their availability.

Today @MattHancock tried to claim lockdown was imposed on 16th March.
That is a lie. We had to wait until the 23rd.
Doctors like me were distraught, desperate. We knew the govt was sleepwalking into disaster.
Trying to rewrite history after 45k deaths is truly outrageous.
Excellent letter from David Rice about the food bank and #HaslemereHelp gets a mention.
As the letter states: 7 years for a short term solution isn’t something to be celebrated.
