I accept that there is an argument that someone still needs access to justice—but Hayden's behaviour is astonishing, and I don't understand why this wider pattern of behaviour hasn't been picked up and limited by the Courts. There are so many unanswered questions: where does the money come from, how is the lifestyle flaunted on social media and in court filings funded, and how does that work with a scheme that is designed to help poor people of extremely limited means? How does that square with £25,000 in shares in a self-owned company? Most ordinary people aren't queuing up to sue people, oddly enough. They access the scheme quite legitimately to enforce their rights (either as a claimant or a defendant) and I don't think the scheme's designers ever envisioned it being used as what I would say is a tool of abuse.
