#ColoradoSpringsFire is on scene of #highanglerescue #PIOonscene In the Garden of the Gods Park. One male was found approx. 75 feet up on the rocks without climbing gear or protection. Engine 5, Engine 13, and Heavy Rescue worked for the last hour to set up a rope system to safely bring the male to the ground using a “B/C pick off” rescue. Male is not injured. Engine 5 and Engine 13 will be moving Patient off trail by using a rescue litter with a single wheel, as they walk next to the litter. Due to the steep declining slopes, ropes will also be used.
