@KosSamaras Except that isn’t true. Boomers delayed super, dipped into it, or cashed out to buy their first 🏠 . And they’ve reaped big dividends. It’s so sad those suckling at the teet of super funds put fund managers first, & first home buyers second. It should be #HomeFirstSuperSecond
I remember handing out @ Hampton 🚂 station in May 22 & a 50 y/o woman said ‘pollies talk 🏡, I have enough $ in my super for a deposit & am running out of time to pay off a 🏠. So I’ll burn super on rent & still need the pension: fix it”. We did. We will. #HomeFirstSuperSecond
.@MChandlerMather lives in cuckoo housing land. One thing he got right is the empty lie of build-to-rent housing: young Aussies will become permanent renters to corporate landlords who’ll screw them on rents. Time to put 1st home buyers before fund managers. #HomeFirstSuperSecond
Tim Wilson back recycling his nauseating campaign of #homefirstsupersecond ❌🙄
Approach roundly discredited by economists & policy analysts, as it would simply inflate the housing market even more with all this new cash, without addressing the actual systemic issues.

Some of us always held the faith, but more than anything it will help young Australians compete against retirees who can use super to buy property. #HomeFirstSuperSecond
@TimWilsonMP Awkwardly Tim Wilson, it would appear current deputy Liberal leader Sussan Ley never had this so called "faith" in your own discredited #homefirstsupersecond rouse.

Young people need their super for retirement, not to try to take pressure off an urban housing bubble, better solved by decentralisation.

Sky News host Peta Credlin has urged the Liberal Party to renew a promise to allow young people to use some of their super towards purchasing their first home, claiming it would “enrage Labor”.

@aaronsmith @BrentHodgson How about his little campaign to trick gullible people into using all their super & rob them of compound intrest? #HomeFirstSuperSecond
Now we know why Labor and the Teals hate you using your super to buy a home under #HomeFirstSuperSecond. They want your money for #TaxFirstSuperSecond
Massive congratulations to @TimWilsonMP who gets to spend more time at home and is relieved of the burdensome 15.4% employer superannuation contributions.
#HomeFirstSuperSecond
My most satisfying outcome for today would be a slim Labor minority where the Liberals fall short only by Tim Wilson's seat of Goldstein and #homefirstsupersecond never becomes a thing entirely because of his failure in the safest of seats.

Our Government believes in the Australian Dream, that we should all have the opportunity to own our own home. 🇦🇺🏡
#HomeFirstSuperSecond
@strangerous10 Thank @TimWilsonMP that @zdaniel has an excellent chance of being an excellent replacement for the (used to be) #homefirstsupersecond F’wit #auspol
@TimWilsonMP Everytime a Liberal MP uses the hashtag #HomeFirstSuperSecond
There's a domain name to go along with that 👀:

It really is good to see Parliament aware that putting super before homes is a stupid as saving for your 67th birthday party ahead of your 21st. Own a home and you’ll have a better retirement, don’t and you’ll be poorer. It’s why it should be #HomeFirstSuperSecond
Inquiry says first home buyers should be able to use super savings as loan security https://t.co/nVTc9EiFLp
It should be #HomeFirstSuperSecond

And there you have it, Labor officially declares surrender on the great Australian dream. But watch them race to defend the right of Big Super to buy houses with your money you can rent from them making you a serf to super trustees. That’s why it should be #HomeFirstSuperSecond
@TimWilsonMP Did you tell them the good news about #HomeFirstSuperSecond?
That their parents been voting for you lot to increase the price of their family home, which makes it harder for these kids to buy a place of their own when they enter the workforce?
Is this the hope you’re selling?
Lovely morning in Martin Street with residents raising many issues: aged care, local environment, Labor’s retiree tax, and one person who hates the compulsion of super and wants more early draw downs and was interested in #HomeFirstSuperSecond
#HomeFirstSuperSecond makes complete sense unless you’re @IndustrySuper or been misled by their $500m in ad spending of your money
Not often that the @abcnews publishes something that agrees with @TimWilsonMP! Could Australia learn from Singapore to make housing more affordable? https://t.co/nUx249YKCv via @ABCaustralia
Actually @TheAge, they do have the savings for a deposit. They’re just taken from them, locked away for 50 years for life’s 2nd biggest $ priority under ‘super over homes’. It should be #HomeFirstSuperSecond which delivers benefits in your working life & retirement
