This also means, with an upper cap of 50,000 words, I am about 10k off finishing my first full draft (I say 10k as about 5k of my word count is bibliography). #HullEdD

So far, I'm up 600 words this evening, bringing me a total of 1,000 words to this week's goal of 10,000. To hit the target, I have 9,000 words to go this week... As for tonight, I've still got another hour in me at least to dent this further #AmWriting #PhDchat #HullEdD

Very happy! After 3 weeks of little progress, I've had an amazing 3 days of analysis (despite #UKHeatwave making things 🔥). Achieved nearly 40 hours of #NVivo work. Still a bit to go, but finally back and running with the #HullEdD. #PhDchat #PhDforum

Managed to get some good progress on coding today. Refined over 260 ideas/tentative themes down to 150 (under 8 major themes). Still a LONG way to go until that's a manageable number, but that's the fun part of social research. Making sense of it all! #HullEdD #PhDforum

Today: Working on my research in #NVivo from 8:00 am until 9:30 pm with two thirty minute breaks for food. Feeling awesome for it. This gives me two more days to finish as much of my analysis as possible before I’m back at work on Thursday. #HullEdD #PhDforum #PhDchat #LTHEchat
