✨ Nilesh Gorakh Tupe, the first sailor from Bhagur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra), carved his own path to the #IndianNavy.
✨ Born into a farmer’s family, he grew up working in the fields, where discipline, grit & resilience became second nature. In Feb 2020, amid the pandemic, he joined the Logistics (Finance & Administration) branch.
✨ Now serving at INAS 324, @IN_Dega, Nilesh has not only grown in service but also built a home of his own & renovated his family house — milestones of pride for his loved ones & village.
✨ His journey stands as an inspiration to young minds everywhere — showing how even the smallest fields can nurture the biggest dreams.

Meet Arpit Kanwar, NA I (AD) of 321(V) Flight – a true embodiment of grit and determination.💪
🏔️ Hailing from a Naval family with roots in Himachal and born in Mumbai, Arpit studied at NCS and KV, earning an NCC ‘A’ certificate and excelling in acting, sports and social service.
🏊♂️ A passionate swimmer and certified personal trainer, he pursued fitness professionally before answering his calling – the Indian Navy, inspired by his father.
⚓ From Chilka’s basic training to his time onboard INS Investigator, he never gave up – even through medical hurdles. With unwavering resolve, he completed the elite Diving Course, earning his badge as an Air Crew Diver.
🫡 Now posted at INS Dega, he continues to serve with distinction — notably participating in the Vijayawada Flash Flood in Aug and Sep 2024 rescue operation, among many acts of dedication and valour.

✨ Growing up in Surat, Gujarat, Avinash always dreamed of serving the nation. In 2017, after his uncle was martyred in J&K, that dream turned into a firm resolve.
✨ Despite facing numerous challenges, he excelled academically and fulfilled his dream by joining the #IndianNavy in 2021.
✨ Today, he maintains life-critical Safety Equipment for ship-borne Indian Naval combat aircraft — small details that make a big difference when it matters the most. Avinash is one of the Heroes of James Plumb's famous story - WHO PACKED YOUR PARACHUTE ... he works silently in the parachute bay, and it saves lives in critical moments of Naval Aircrew flying at high seas.

⚙️ His humble journey began as a #DefenceCivilian in the Air Engineering Department (AED) at #IN_Dega, #Visakhapatnam, in 1992 as a Sheet Metal Worker.
⚙️ He honed his skills with passion and precision. However, a tragic life-altering accident that cost him his right leg could not deter his spirit or commitment to service.
⚙️ Fueled by determination and professional expertise, he continued to excel, gaining extensive experience across a range of aircraft.
🏆 His contributions to Naval Aviation were duly recognised with prestigious accolades, including two #FOC-in-C (E) Commendations and Appreciations from #FONA.
⚙️ His story serves as a powerful inspiration, showcasing the ability to overcome any adversity and making meaningful contributions to society.
