It has been suggested that the Doctors for Protection from Guns have been intimately involved with other #guncontrol organizations, such as @Polysesouvient and @CGCguncontrol, in the crafting of the controversial and now defunct, #HuntingGunBan amendments to Bill C-21.
One piece of evidence would suggest the above is true, and is found in a fact-checking video we did last October where Dr. Najma calls for the ban of the SKS and on all semi-automatic rifles and shotguns commonly used for hunting in Canada, a position historically held by the above organizations.

A spokesperson for @Polysesouvient told media "the only thing they're offering us...is setting up the Advisory Committee again. That's a 'cop-out,'" adding that a previous committee under @BillBlair could be 'easily micro-managed to do what the government wants.'
