We need to consider the possibility of a "high risk" "high threat" scenario in contact with extraterrestrial, non-human intelligences. Can a traditional risk/threat analyses help us differentiate possibilities from probabilities and aid in developing a "working assessment" of Alien intent? We have some serious work to do to understand the intent of the extraterrestrial, non-human intelligence operating in our world. We should start by mapping out the spectrum of possibilities and then bound a zone of probabilities regarding alien intent, based on the evidence we have.
