@Diddoms Glad you found useful Michael. Pre-covid we ran a pilot RCT of in-person peer support @western_health called #icuRESOLVE. During covid did a pilot RCT of virtual peer support @western_health & @TheRMH. Papers in progress! As health professionals who run it, we get a lot from it!
One of the things I enjoy about running our #icuRESOLVE #peersupport group for ICU survivors - is the inadvertent clinician to clinician peer support that happens post-meeting
Wow, just WOW. Such important recognition and response to what happens ‘after ICU’. Thank you @HainesKimberley for running with such a cool crew and maintaining that #ICUresolve 🥰❤️ #PICS
After a tough year in the ICU community, it’s great to see this book published. Thanks to co-editors @Jomcpeake22 @ICU_Recovery. Thanks to @iwashyna for opportunity. Thanks to the phenomenal authors who delivered despite global pandemic
The value of #peersupport for ICU recovery highlighted below - connecting survivors so they no longer feel alone #icurehab #icuRESOLVE
Creating a community for #COVID19 survivors may be important but also important for ALL who survive critical illness.
I see you @HainesKimberley ❤️ Beautiful story on surviving COVID/ICU ‘It’s powerful when you see ICU survivors in the same room. It’s emotional...they see somebody else who has experienced what they have and they realise they are not alone."

ICU survivorship has much higher profile in this #COVID19au world. Fantastic time to build-on/recognise the value of post—ICU peer support programs like #icuresolve #postintensivecaresyndrome

Great to meet two #rehablegends @HainesKimberley @LizzyHib. Sharing knowledge around critical illness survivorship & the role of peer support. Thanks to @wcmt. @TantamKate for global reach of #rehablegend campaign
When you arrive back to work and the extremely capable @LizzyHib has finished recruitment for our #icuRESOLVE pilot RCT of a #codesigned peer support intervention! Looking forward to getting this paper out in 2020 @SCCM
AND can I please ask for a round of applause to the
#icuresolve team for including their consumer (me!) in the publication process #withconsumers #kimberleyrocks
We have been leading the way in critical care @western_health by engaging patients & their carers in co-designing a research intervention aligned with their preferences.
Here's how we did it:
