Our last session of this free training day for Academic Managers and Trainers is a Q&A Panel lead by Shaun Wilden with panelists Chloe Pakeman Schiavone, Giovanni Licata, George Pickering, Monica Green and Andy Hockley. #IHConfAMT
In 2020 many educators were forced to move to training online but what makes a successful online course? Shaun Wilden delivered a very interesting talk: ‘Where’s the water cooler? The effect of learning communities in online teacher training’. #IHConfAMT
Finally, it is also very important leaders take care of themselves, their own wellbeing, developing and mastering their leadership skills. #IHConfAMT
Our first plenary speaker Andy Hockley spoke about Academic Leadership during Covid19. Andy first looked at the old model of leadership which may be directive, controlling and 'heroic'. A leader leading 'into battle'. An approach that may be slowly disappearing. #IHConfAMT
Our very first free training day has just started. Managing Director Lucy Horsefield welcomed participants from all over the world: Vietnam, UK, Cambodia, Italy, UK, Mexico, Germany, Egypt and many more. What an international audience! #IHConfAMT
