फ्रांस के जी-7 शिखर सम्मेलन से ठीक पहले वैश्विक राजनीति में एक बहुत बड़ा कूटनीतिक उलटफेर हुआ है। क्या इस नए समीकरण के बीच भारत और अमेरिका के संबंध एक नई करवट लेने के लिए तैयार हैं? #G7Summit #IndoUSRelations मुख्य बिंदु- फ्रांस के एवियां-ले-बैंस में आयोजित होने जा रहे जी-7 शिखर सम्मेलन से ठीक पहले वैश्विक पटल पर एक बड़ी हलचल देखने को मिल रही है। अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच होर्मुज जलमार्ग को लेकर हुए नए समझौते ने पूरी दुनिया का ध्यान खींचा है। भारत के नजरिए से देखें तो यह समझौता एक बड़ी राहत लेकर आया है, क्योंकि इससे हमारे कच्चे तेल और गैस की आपूर्ति बेहद आसान हो जाएगी और ढुलाई की लागत में भी भारी कमी आएगी। लेकिन इस सकारात्मक मोड़ के बीच, भारत के सामने अपनी संप्रभुता और राष्ट्रीय हितों को लेकर तीन बेहद गंभीर चुनौतियां खड़ी हैं, जिन पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को अमेरिकी नेतृत्व के सामने दृढ़ता से बात रखनी होगी। सबसे पहला और संवेदनशील मुद्दा अमेरिकी नौसैनिक नाकेबंदी के दौरान मारे गए तीन निर्दोष भारतीय नाविकों का है। विदेश मंत्रालय द्वारा अमेरिकी राजनयिक को तलब किए जाने के बाद अब यह बेहद जरूरी हो गया है कि इस मुलाकात में बिना किसी कूटनीतिक संकोच के अमेरिका से इस पर ठोस जवाबदेही और इंसाफ की मांग की जाए। परिपक्व विदेश नीति का तकाजा यही है कि स्वागत की कूटनीति के बीच देश अपने नागरिकों की सुरक्षा के मुद्दे को ओझल न होने दे। दूसरा महत्वपूर्ण विषय भारत-अमेरिका व्यापार समझौते का है। हालांकि दोनों देशों के बीच सैन्य साझेदारी, सेमीकंडक्टर और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस जैसे क्षेत्रों में सहयोग का मजबूत ढांचा बना है, लेकिन टैरिफ और व्यापार से जुड़े लंबित हिस्सों को पूरा करने के लिए अमेरिका पर दबाव बनाना अभी बाकी है। तीसरा बड़ा संकट हमारे देश के उन करीब आठ लाख आईटी प्रोफेशनल्स का है जो इस समय एच-1बी वीजा और श्रम-उल्लंघन शुल्क की सख्ती के कारण अनिश्चितता का सामना कर रहे हैं। भारतीय तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों का हित हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ है, और इस पर अमेरिकी प्रशासन से सीधी बात होना समय की मांग है। वर्ष 2047 तक 'विकसित भारत' का संकल्प किसी भी तरह के रणनीतिक एकाकीपन से पूरा नहीं हो सकता। हमें अमेरिका जैसी महाशक्ति के साथ गहरे और मजबूत संबंधों की आवश्यकता निश्चित रूप से है, लेकिन यह साझेदारी बराबरी और आपसी सम्मान के सिद्धांतों पर ही टिकी होनी चाहिए। इतिहास में भारत-अमेरिका संबंध आज जितने जरूरी हैं, उतने पहले कभी नहीं रहे, लेकिन इस नई करवट में भारत को अपने हितों को सर्वोपरि रखना होगा। #ForeignPolicy #Geopolitics #IndiaUS

Let’s deal with the Americans in a professional way without making it complex. There is a lobby in our country which wants us to give this relationship a special colour which is neither needed nor likely to be extraordinarily fruitful.
