#Pakistan on Friday dismissed as false recent remarks by #Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan #Muttaqi who had claimed Islamabad’s links to the #ISKP the Islamic State Khorasan Province in his speech at the #Moscow Format consultations. “We are rejecting the statement of links with ISKP, and the situation in #Badakhshan and Nuristan is Taliban’s responsibility,” MoFA spox @ForeignOfficePk @kachosajjadFSP said at weekly briefing. “TTP, BLA and other terrorist organisations have found very safe havens in #Kabul in Afghanistan. Government of Pakistan at political levels and other levels have provided exact and precise locations of their presence. From Pakistan, The strikes have been targeted and precise, he said. He said Pakistan participated in the Moscow Format meeting constructively and clearly conveyed our concerns. “Afghan Taliban delegation did not agree to previous years language and departed from the position. Believe this is a substantive issue and not mere wording,” the spokesman said when asked why no joint statement on the Moscow Format was issued.
