Had so much fun presenting #ifiapply at #TILC2019 yesterday! Met some amazing people, heard fabulous presentations, and saw (and photographed) really cool posters. I can’t wait to attend again!

@hailthefargoats .@annie_nesnaj helped me use #IfIApply with my introductory-level coastal oceanography course this past semester - was useful for many of my course topics students had to find sources for (climate change, hurricane destruction, etc) that had an emotional context

Kat does mention that #IfIApply has slowly been spreading in exciting ways and also mentions they have had some assessment challenges (which they are tackling!) And best part, this method does work 🎉 #loex2019

Fun fact: the first time the CRAAP test was mentioned was LOEX 2004. Kat talks about how the CRAAP test started good conversations but it’s time to move forward. We have to move away from black/white into more flexible models #IfIApply #loex2019
