A lighter variant of the BORSUK IFV featuring the ZSMU 30/40 remote-controlled weapon station. Unveiled at MSPO 2026, this Borsuk IFV variant-equipped with the ZSMU 30/40 turret (weighing under 1,500 kg)-can be up to two tonnes lighter than the version with the ZSSW-30 turret and is certainly somewhat less expensive. Furthermore, last year the ZSMU 30/40 system was demonstrated alongside the HAWK C-UAS radar from Hertz New Technologies. It is therefore possible that this version of the Borsuk IFV is intended for the anti-drone protection of units on the move. This theory is reinforced by the fact that the ZSMU-30/40 offers a slightly higher elevation angle compared to the ZSSW-30.
