This video was taken on the evening of 8th June 2024, the InSane Squad coach telling the athletes to focus on the their own race the following day at Comrades marathon and not focus on what their friends are doing/telling them to do. #InSaneSquad

Word of advise, If you are intending on joining the #InSaneSquad, don't buy clothes anymore. That's not your size. Uzophela finish

Making him run the sub 4 in training achieved my objective of boosting his confidence. At Two Oceans he achieved his revised target of sub 3h40 crossing the marathon mark in 3h39. He went on to improve his previous Two Oceans time of 5h48 by 41min clocking 5h07 10/10 #InSaneSquad

Sometimes it's all about the feeling after race. Numbers are secondary. This was me after Miway 2023 and running 4:01. I needed a few minutes of silence 😂😂😂😂. After TOM 2024, i could still walk up and down those stairs without holding onto anything. #InSaneSquad

He started the race with a Two Oceans PB of 4h49 and with 4 weeks of being on the #InSaneSquad program he improved and ran a new Two Oceans personal best time of 4h36. He ran such a beautiful race, almost even splits and he didn’t slow down significantly at Constantia Nek. 3/4
