A new paper from THP’s #InstituteForBetterHealth (IBH) in SSM - Health Systems, presents a Learning Health Systems (LHS) action framework, which describes how research & health-care operations are linked in a rapid-cycle LHS approach to advance #PopulationHealth & #HealthEquity.

IBH #LearningHealthSystem Scientist Dr. Marissa Bird has received the inaugural CIHR Health System Impact Early Career Researcher Award. Dr. Bird's funded project, informed by a Learning Health Systems approach, examines the concept of Organizational Ambidexterity and its potential to increase health system capacity to meet the needs of a growing and aging population.
