#IntMECFSConference2025 At present, IMHO it is not possible to make reliable statements regarding the effectiveness of immunoadsorption (IA) versus apheresis procedures, simply because we lack the necessary data as a basis for evaluation. 1/2

#IntMECFSConference2025 Two important takeaways on the topic of immune absorption or apheresis is, that it most likely only works in conjunction with B-cell depletion and that severely and very severely affected patients are at high risk of deterioration.

seit der #IntMecfsConference2025 ,sollten 2 Dinge klar sein: 1. Die Placebo Kontrollierte Studie zur Effektivität von Reha („CFS Care“) hatte 0 Effekt. als Therapie von ME/CFS wirkts nicht. 2. ME/CFS ist eine körperliche Krankheit- bitte keine weiteren Studien zu Psychosomatik!
