Here, I will accept Sharia over them.’ Shaykh Sahib (may Allah protect him) continued: “In the meeting, the Foreign Minister, the Minister of Mines, and other ministers were also present. They said: ‘Shaykh Sahib, through this agreement we will receive a huge amount of investment. If this agreement is not finalized, we will lose that investment.’ I told them: ‘By Allah, even if the entire Afghanistan is filled with gold, I will not abandon Sharia for even one second.’ Shaykh Sahib (may Allah protect him) added: “A few days later, the minister called me and said: ‘Shaykh Sahib, they have accepted your condition.’ I said: ‘Alhamdulillah!’ Then my students gave charity and said; Alhamdulillah, Sharia prevailed."
