One thing that's been showing up in recent polls is that Canadians' trust in Islam has utterly dropped off a cliff. A plurality now see it as a malevolent force. Just one of the many indicators showing that Canadian social cohesion is coming apart at breakneck speeds.
Many years ago I started a hashtag #IslamIsAltRight to illustrate that Islam is much more Conservative than the Christianity you fight. It makes no sense to fight one and consider the other progressive. Fundamentalists from both religions want nothing more than tyrannical control

Islam represents a lot of values that are identical to what the far-right represents and believes in. If youโre still in denial about this in 2019, you are choosing to be ignorant and are a part of the problem.
Why does this confuse ppl?
Do you have trouble envisioning a right-wing Christian?
No?
Then why should envisioning a right-wing Muslim be any different?
Just multiply the Christian by at least 10, and thatโs what a right-wing Muslim looks like.

@ConfessionsExMu @reuterspictures Just like in *any* other right-wing circles, the female body is problematic in fundamentalist Islamic communities. Right-wing ideologies have always limited the space for the female body.

Neither religion promotes #liberal values. Both religions are right-wing. In fact, #IslamIsAltRight.
