Every year I get more questions about managing field horsetail and scouring rush in row crops with few good answers available for the growers. This farmer has a patch of horsetail in every side hill seep. #ISUCrops
While we aren’t sure how the contamination happened, you can see a nice variety of symptoms from clethodim on corn in this field. Anything from white/yellow bands on leaves to totally dead plants. #ISUCrops

If you farm along D65 just west of Hwy 17 in Hamilton county, you will want to check for hail damage for about 4-5 miles going east. Seems like the damage is worse closer to Hwy 17. There's also leaning corn along 17. If you have other hail crop damage, let me know. #isucrops
