I led a delegation on Tuesday to dialogue with the executive committee and officials of the Trades Union Congress of Ghana, a great opportunity to share with organised labour and Ghanaians generally some of the well-considered policy interventions I will lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration to implement to bring the collapsed Ghanaian economy back to life. I outlined several transition measures we will implement with the working people and citizens in mind to address the economic decline and set Ghana on the path to recovery. We aim to expand economic freedom, primarily through thriving small enterprises, development initiatives at the district assembly levels, and cooperative schemes, as well as through our natural resource sectors and manufacturing.
