Good morning! It is the final day of #JSAA2021! We will be starting our first session of panel presentations soon.
Our first set of concurrent sessions of the conference will be starting soon! We have five, that’s right FIVE, simultaneous streams running. Our fabulous papers cover literature, linguistics, Japanese law, women and work, and pop-culture. How can we choose? #JSAA2021
Although I have been so looking forward to #JSAA2021 I also had to prepare myself for a lot of referenes to 3.11. It's been so long but it still feels so raw. The beautiful poetry of Suga Keijiro at the keynote session is hitting hard.
Our first keynote is Keijiro Suga is bringing us the thrilling and innovative: “Standing at the Edge of Water”. Responding to the long-term aftermath of 3.11, Suga contemplates the process of recovery, and the protection through separation of humans/water #JSAA2021
