when his glumness turns lower
a somber sullenness blankets him,
he looks for a work, a look, a smile,
her little drops of sunshine,
how they turn the corners,
of gloom and of his mouth,
upside-down to right-side rising,
up to meet her
in the universe ethereal.
Stepping out
once a day
on the old pier
bones shaking
as the crane
wavers
and the joker
grimaces.

I'm standing
In the midnight rain
Mud sticking
To me
Almost like a bevelled fray of glass..
My reflection
Tangling with the train graffiti
Collapsing like a star
Yet rising like a Phoenix..
Caught
Between the whispers
And the
Dawn that calls
My name...
before dawn arrives
into her heart
in a single breath
she calls my name
in a wayfaring whisper
carrying yesterday's remnants
i hear them
and say: hello

There is love in my wrists,
a lunar summer glow,
threads
from a dragon
wounded,
riveting silver memories
under skin of snow,
holding donations
in their tunnels
while falling
humanity
spiraling goes,
a new year
still with hope.

Pale sunlight of winter
Throws a shadow from this shell,
Scrolling, spiralling.
The tide advances slowly
Eager to fill up the void.

I loved your words, how they made me feel
Starved for love,I grasped at those words
Believed them,
left everything to have them
I didn’t know they were false
Partial truths,Self serving
They came with ifs and buts
I should of Donated my memories to the trash
blue chip
ceiling skies
patch clouds
in blurred cirrus
Saturn starlit moon
the raw practice of Spring
shattered winter
somewhere too
the baby Autumn
minding
her own brat sister
beach pastels
and summer falling
let me drink my whiskey warm

Scrolling through donated memories
Snatches of another life
Frozen in pixels
Left for a scavenger
To feed off emotions
Curated to look beautiful
Incentives
burn extra sharp
and hot
Lit by
poignant moments
in process
Donated memories
capture summer
falling from the freeze.

~Art~ Monet "Woman with a Parasol"
An impassioned pit
sent hailstorm
'tween glass trees,
impatient dreams,
echoed impossibilities
among pyrocumulus clouds
exhaling over us
their lost poetry.
Gentle lillies
scrolled spotted ice
into the sea,
a new era
to believe.

#JanuaryFalls20 "lost sea scrolls"
Every pathway from a soul
is heart begun
becoming writ and music
vibrant emanations vibing on
known inner space light gone
life wave acoustic
portals upon
that carried lost sea scrolls...

these writings sent in bottles
across a great ocean divide,
are they simply lost sea scrolls
seeking land, when none is in sight,
they seem to be lingering, lolling,
but rolling in due straight course,
they know, they must bide time
while preserving their voyage.
@AuthorAmarie your desire has a home in me
scream
scrape
cry
beat
die
into the hollows of my ribs
let the pages lay empty
while we ink the world
with how we live.

Sophisticated
and dire
an exhale
bound in lost memories
A place where
sea scrolls down
line after line
of tremendous poetry
and waves
wash this rebel heart
toward an ethereal
shore of dreams.

my
little bathtub Barbie
slipped her diary
& went scuba-safari
sculpted
in papier-mâché
anchored
forever to the year
cemented to history
her own
lost sea scrolls
she wrote
of September tears
and her own
unifying force
but left no mention
of me

seabirds feather
towards sunset
exhaling poetry
upon deserted
shores
gold & silver
snug under
the wooly
infancy of
marine turtles
their curious claws
fusing with
trickling water
fortunes settling
the balance

With each conscious breath
I am exhaling poetry -
Unconscious reflections of Life,
Splattered with spilt ink
Sigh!
