Today, I welcomed Cde Rev. Paul Gondani Vutuzah, one of the remaining leaders of ZANU Ndonga, into the ZANU-PF family. This is another important step in a reunification process with deep historical roots. Under Cde Wilson Khumbula, ZANU Ndonga resolved in February 2015 to reunite with ZANU-PF, a position reaffirmed by its executive in February 2018. ZANU-PF and ZANU Ndonga emerged from the same revolutionary tradition. Whatever political differences separated us over the years cannot be greater than the liberation heritage, national identity and aspirations that unite us. I commend Cde Blessing Chebundo, Coordinator of the Dzokai Kumusha/Buyani Ekhaya Programme, for facilitating this engagement. Our message is simple: the doors of ZANU-PF remain open. Let us bring together all progressive forces, close the divisions of yesterday and consolidate our collective strength around peace, unity, development and the prosperity of Zimbabwe. There is more that unites us than divides us. Together, we move our country forward.
