Tuvalet kâğıdı asacağından mücevhere, villaya her şey; camdan metale, ahşaba her malzemeyle tasarım yapan Josef Hoffmann’ın yapıp ettiklerini üç boyutlu görmek için iki adres: Viyana’da Leopold Müzesi yahut MAK.

Jugendstil writing desk from 1905 by Josef Hoffmann.
Josef Hoffmann understood what so few do: that form is a kind of poetry. Even a goblet can carry grace, structure, and delight.

Elindeki kırmızı defterde Klimt'in eskizleri var. 1873'te doğmuş.
Today I visited the exhibition of Josef Hoffmann's work (Wiener Werkstaette). Timelessly beautiful exhibits that were certainly ahead of their time. 👍
