What if I made conceptually engaging journaling games as 5 x 7 cards? ๐ฎ
I think you'll like them:

I've been putting hashtags on my journaling game/zines and checking them to see if people are talking about games they're playing, but mostly no one uses hashtags ๐
So...what journaling games are you playing?

If you've been on the fence about Inscapes, @thejaymo read an advance copy and posted his thoughts just now. Maybe it'll help you decide. There's just a few days left.

Be With Me is a journaling game about your time on a reality dating show like The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. You use paint swatches to represent the prospective life partners you date on the show.

Found this in a book from a Little Free Library and now I'm thinking I should make a sequel game to Be With Me where you write on the paint swatches.

One of my favorite milestones is printing and stapling a proof copy and trimming it to size.

Hey #Denver -
If you're into journaling, The Artist's Way, tarot, solo RPGs, creativity, or paint swatches, come find me this coming Saturday at the Globeville Center 4496 Grant Street!

Just got this from someone who's not on x/twitter. She's in a Belgian cafe having a Belgian๐ง๐ช waffle and reading The Ink That Bleeds.
And I'm feeling like a very cosmopolitan zinester.

There's a puzzle in Say We Do. Find a path through the letter grid that spells out a journaling game prompt (and then play it). Check it out:

Customer service is someone buys The Ink That Bleeds this morning and I bike it to the post office before first collection.
Doesn't happen for every purchase, but on a sun-drenched Denver day your odds aren't bad.

I only just mailed the first copies of The Sneeze to buyers yesterday and already the Paul Czege Quotebot on Mastodon is posting quotes from it ๐ฒ

Play a few journaling games and that's a bunch of characters you've met, and...you ever wonder what they say about you when you're not around?
The zine/game for it is The Sneeze. Flash saleing as of *now*:

I don't see people talking about playing journaling games, so I think it means they aren't. My friend Tam thinks people play but don't talk about it.
It's like good sex. When you're having good sex you drive your friends crazy talking about it to them.

...entry is "something that smells like seeds"

So of course you're not dead. How could you be after that? Three days and you're alive again.

What are your odds I'd walk into the Denver Zine Fest today and someone would be selling a journaling game?
It's by @MichaelPutlack.
