On the early hours of Saturday 26 of April 2026 by 2am, my best friend A young graduate who just finished school last year and currently serving his country and was meant to pass out just next month was KILLED BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY. @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG_CRU @sowore
@PeterObi @officialnyscng @vdmempire @BenHundeyin
While at home with his siblings (his parents were away), 3 armed military men forced their way into their house around 2am claiming they were chasing a thief.
They encountered him and he locked his door like anyone would do to protect themselves and his siblings because he was the eldest and he has a duty to protect his siblings. they shot through the door multiple times, A bullet hit his head and another hit his stomach. They killed him in his own home.
It didn’t end there.
They prevented his sister from going to him. They tried to stop her from calling for help and when help finally came, his body was taken away. The soldiers called the local vigilante to come and clean the scene. The scene was cleaned and the house was locked down. No clear answers were given. This happened in Dakwa Abuja, it’s not longer rumors that we aren’t safe, not even in our homes.
This was someone’s son. Someone’s brother. Someone’s friend.
He was kind. He was good. He had a future.
This cannot be swept under the rug.
We are demanding accountability. We are demanding answers. We are demanding justice.
Please repost. Please speak up. Don’t let this be ignored.
Please help me tag the necessary authorities under this post

NYSC Mourns Corps Member Abdulsamad Jamiu
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Corps Member Abdulsamad Jamiu (NS/25A/2904), who sadly lost his life during a military operation in the vicinity of his residence at Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja, in the early hours of Sunday, 26 April 2026.
Until his unfortunate demise, Corps Member Jamiu was serving at Government Junior Secondary School, Bakin Ado, Nasarawa State, where he was contributing to national development through the Scheme.
The NYSC Management notes this incident with profound concern and sorrow. The Scheme is actively engaging with relevant security agencies to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
While this occurrence is deeply regrettable, the Scheme reaffirms its commitment to the safety, security, and welfare of all Corps Members and staff across the country. Efforts will continue to be strengthened in collaboration with security and intelligence agencies to mitigate risks and enhance protection nationwide.
The NYSC stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult period and prays for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
Thank you.
Management.

Okay, we learned you are investigating the officers involved. An eye witness just confirmed that this is the officer involved that night. Kindly fish them out. Thank you.

The young man in this picture is DĘAD!
Until his untimely death, he was a serving NYSC corps member.
In his own room at Shagari Quarters, Deidei, Abuja, officers from the @HQNigerianArmy shōt and blew up his hęad claiming it was a “mistake.”
Late Samad was not a criminal. He was simply serving his fatherland, only to be murdered by those paid to protect him.
We demand that the military hierarchy immediately investigate this incident, punish the officers involved, and ensure his family gets justice!
May this not happen to any of us.

Samad didn’t deserve to die that way. Please let’s keep trending the hashtags…Justice must be Served!

Youths in the area around Dei Dei Abuja, where late Abdulsamad was killed in his room by member of the Nigerian Army, protesting against his killing, the voice of his sister can be heard crying from the background.

A forced entry through the fence, a clean shot at the room door, but Nigeria army said they were chasing armed robbers in Abdulsamad room.
His house has a fence with barbwire. Are you saying the stray bullet pierced the fence, then pierced the door, still not slowing down, then it shattered his skull in his room? Nigerian Army said the boys were chasing armed robbers in the night, they came under intense fire and Samad was caught in the crossfire. The so called armed robbers are nowhere to be found.
God see us all.

The Nigerian army came to drop a false statement claiming it was a cross fire,
Now this is a voice note directly from the sister who witnessed EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED!!
She WITNESSED HER BROTHER’s DEATH!!
PLEASE I URGE YOU LISTEN TO IT !!!
How the 3 soldier men dragged her forcefully out of the house, the 3 soldier men also called the local vigilantes to come clean up the room,
After they were done the called their colleagues about 10 of them to come to the crime scene and take photos there so they could easily debunk the whole thing when it goes out @HQNigerianArmy you didn’t need to lie, there was no intense exchange!!!!! You people killed abdulsamad in his room , in his parents house, 2am on Saturday, the first gunshot that was heard in the neighborhood was the one that happened in their house
There is still a bullet stuck in his room wall and close to the spot you can still see pieces of his BRAINS!!!
@officialnyscng a Nigerian corps member was MURDERED by the army and you are still MUTE about IT !! Disgusting.

How do you go out for the burial of an elderly relative, only to come back home to the corpse of your son that the Nigerian Army jumped fence to murder in your own house in his room? How do you heal from that trauma? 😭
Nigerian Army, must bring the men out. #JusticeForSamad
