Today we visited @atom_kaeri with Kenya’s Ambassador to South Korea @Amb_EmmyKipsoi and CEO of @KenGenKenya as we pave the way for Kenya’s first Nuclear Power Plant in Siaya County! 🇰🇪🇰🇷 We toured the impressive HANARO Research Reactor, which has operated since 1995 providing vital neutron beam research, material/fuel testing, and medical/industrial radioisotope production. Proud to share that @nuclearkenya has been appointed owner-operator of Kenya’s first research reactor. It will serve as a multi-purpose hub for advanced nuclear research, production of vital radioisotopes, and crucial hands-on teaching & training for our nuclear workforce. @WilliamsRuto @OpiyoWandayi @AlexWachira_ @lgumbe, @KoreanEmbassyKE #NuclearEnergy #CleanEnergy #KenyaGlobal #KAERI
