Indian languages and Chinese share a lot of aspirates and the lack of fricatives. Everybody west of Pakistan has fricative-heavy languages. India & China lack fricatives. Indian phonology is closer to Chinese than it is to European and Middle-Eastern phonology which is not that weird considering they are actually neighbours. Indian languages are also quite late in adopting alfavets and writing systems. According to Dionysius Alicarnaseus fricatives are the kratista(the best letters/sounds because they utilise a lot of airstream). Like FULL, FARCE, PHONE(VOICE) VITA, VOGLIO while plosives are the ugliest letters/sounds because they only their own force alone(εαυτον δυναμιν εχει μονην). Languages that lack fricatives, cannot pronunce Force or Full. They pronunce Porce and Pull instead.
