One of the projects that is near and dear to us at Paukwa is the #KeAlphabet. Inspired by the need to have a learning guide that reflects the everyday experiences of Kenyans, students from all 47 counties inspired us to imagine that U can indeed be for Ugali!

In 2018, ugali was included in the Collins English dictionary. It followed words like algebra (Arabic), entrepreneur (French), kindergarten (German), and chili (Nahuatl). What other words do we have to contribute to English?
