Bonus pic. Taken today during #KingTides I used to date a girl that rented that yellow house. It was remodeled a few years ago after being flooded by King Tides and a storm surge. At some point the first floor will be permanently flooded due to sea level rise. #KingTidesProject

Pic 6 from yesterday’s King Tide walk with @TijuanaEstuary. This is what happens at the end of Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach during a medium King Tide. On a large King Tide combined with a storm surge, the entire street, and sidewalk will be submerged. #KingTidesProject

Pic 4 from yesterday’s King Tide walk with @TijuanaEstuary. Normally this is a river channel that brings the tides in and out of the estuary. But during the King Tides, there’s so much water that it floods the entire marsh. #KingTidesProject The hills in the background is Mexico.
