🚨 Fire Update: King Fire 🚨
Our Slide Mountain Hand Crew, in collaboration with @LakeTahoe (LTBMU) and air support, is actively working to contain the fire.
The tree struck by lightning has been felled, and the crew is cutting line around the fire perimeter. Upon further assessment, the fire is now estimated to cover 100' x 20'.

Firefighters are on scene of a small lightning-caused wildfire in Mt. Rose Wilderness above Incline Village. The Kings Fire is approx 100ftX40ft & helicopter support is on the way. Responding agencies included @NLTahoeFire, @CalfireNEU, @Tahoe_NF & LTBMU. #KingsFire #FireYear2024
