The National Team Committee has spoken 🗣️ In a virtually unanimous vote, the members agreed that Jurgen Klinsmann should be REPLACED as the men’s national head team coach for the following reasons: ❌ Insufficient tactical preparation, particularly against Jordan in the semifinals leading to the country’s first ever loss to Jordan (Under the limelights of the AFC) ❌ His lack of commitment as the national head team coach demonstrated by his unwillingness to stay/work in the country. ❌ Questionable leadership over the locker room as reports of dissension and quarrels leak out. This recommendation is to be presented to the KFA by the near unanimous vote of 8 members of the committee and is only expected to be bolstered by the recommendation of the Vice President of the KFA, Lee Seok Jae who has himself called for the coach’s removal. Meanwhile fans are camping outside the KFA building calling for chairman Chung’s resignation and politicians have joined the fray with the mayor of Daegu demanding Klinsmann to be sacked. Not to mention the civic lawsuit brought against Chairman Chung’s unilateral hiring of Jurgen. It surely looks like Jurgen Klinsmann’s time has all but come to an end.
