MRIs were poor predictors for appropriateness of surgery. Independent surgeons shown MRIs & asked if patients were surgical candidates. Then looked to see who was ACTUALLY offered surgery…poor agreement. How valid MRI for helping rule in need for surgery? #LBPForum #LBPForum2023
