@Nicmar172 You *may* find that you get a response quicker because they are now dealing with a substantial number of complaints on this issue (I've submitted 1 & am aware of a number of others). The #LGSCO *may* also hold out until new #EHRC guidance is released.... ๐ง
@senmum05 @CPSUK @YvetteCooperMP I was labelled a "serial & vexatious complainant" by school after 1 formal complaint & 3 safeguarding concerns (which they refused to investigate). 2 SLT staff then assaulted my #SEND son & excluded him. It's all currently with the #LGSCO & Teaching Regulation Agency.
A higher word count than the first Harry Potter (@jk_rowling) book! Pity it's just a very detailed & lengthy complaint against Council for appalling treatment of my #SEND son & not an actual novel. This comment now amongst everything else being looked at by the #LGSCO ๐๐ฟ
Complaint against Wiltshire Council escalated online to the #LGSCO. Complaint against the officer at Wiltshire Council requiring a proscribed format not directed for in Wiltshire Council's published protocol submitted online. Happy Monday morning to all those involved ๐๐ฟ
Update - after 2 days of going backwards & forwards explaining we have provided the request in a reasonable format, Wiltshire Council complaints team are refusing to accept my request to escalate to stage 2 until I provide it in the format they want. So off to the #LGSCO we go.

You just have to read the #Trustpilot reviews of all the various UK ombudsmen to see how biased, unjust & useless they all are

@frances_email Itโs the same when you go to the #LGSCO Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman. You spend much time emotion & effort sending in the evidence & they say thereโs not time to consider it all and must have a sharp focus. You might have major issues acknowledged but still not win.
@_curious_one @martinimarie Yes me too!
โOh no not HER againโ attitude!
โLetโs make her vexatiousโ.
Sheโs โclearly disturbedโ.
Unbelievable! But there it was in the SAR.
Also found out council officer misrepresenting crucial facts of the case to those trying to support, and to #LGSCO

@lerdlebosh @SEND_Action @LGOmbudsman I thought the same. I've never read a story worse than my child's in regards to missing years of education. We still live with the consequences from the neglect caused by Sheffield Council day after day, all avoidable trauma.
Glad the family were compensated though. #SEND #LGSCO
Here is a bit about the training @LGOmbudsman offers around #complaintsmanagement or more!

.@suffolkcc we made a complaint about a SW Rosemary Kendall. The complaint was ignored - her manager said if we werenโt satisfied go to #LGSCO and she would be more than happy to answer their questions ๐๐๐ do you train to disrespect and upset families? We will progress this.
