The food I have for the cats at the shelter is enough for only 4 days. I want to buy them canned beef as soon as possible.. Unfortunately, the black market is very bloody. Unfortunately, I have to buy from there... In order not to waste a lot of canned beef, I mix the beef with bread to make it last as long as possible.. Unfortunately, I also buy flour from the black market... but it's a cheaper option than canned beef.. My goal is to buy two bags of flour and 240 canned beef to feed them for at least two months.. 🥺My friends, I barely know how to update you, other than to tell you about the continued cruelty we face every day. The violence against us is constant, and bombs rain down on us day and night. There is nowhere and no time that is safe - our lives have become fear itself. I fear that soon the army will try to force us from the area, but where would we go? Further South is just as dangerous, and the aid distrubution centres look like a horrific nightmare. Every direction in front of us looks like certain death, for us, our children, and the poor animals. People rely on us, and my friends and I do our best to help them as much as we can, but we are running out of options. With an evacuation order in place for our neighborhood, the prices of goods have gone up even more, and people have been buying as much as they can incase they have to hide inside their house for a while. Every time we go out into the open, it is a great risk, and soon, it may not be an option at all. I am scared and tired, my friends. Actually, I'm terrified, and my body and soul are exhausted. Everyone is beyond exhausted. It is supposed to be a joyful and meaningful time of year, but the situation here is so bad that nobody is feeling joyful. The situation for the poor families living in tents is worse than hell, and every day, more people are dying from starvation, thirst, or lack of medical attention. When it's hot, people are forced to drink dirty water to relieve them from the heat, which makes them very sick. Even healthy people who have nothing wrong with them are dying - starvation is consuming us all. There are not as many animals on the streets during the day, I think many have fled the bombing and violence, but unfortunately, many are dying from starvation and sickness. I wish I could do more for them, and I hope that I will be able to buy them some tinned food soon before anything happens.. If we are unable to visit the market soon, then I will feel better knowing I have some food set aside for them. Unfortunately it is extremely expensive, which is why I beg you for your help. My friends and I will continue running and distributing food and water from our kitchen for as long as possible, and your donations are vital for the people who rely on us.
