Have a look at this thread, and in particular the comments by @davidadger, if you need/want an update on the status of #lexicalism in Generative Grammar.

@RemivanTrijp I'd be clearer on whether #lexicalism is or is not still a thing if there were better definitions of it. The old 'the word is the prime of syntax' thing from the 1970s is clearly wrong; LFG is full of loopholes for that, and also not perhaps 100% distinct from CxG. 1/2
