CachyOS is now blaming their censorship of users opposed to Age Verification… on all of you, “[Lunduke’s] masses of racist radicals”. They then quickly censored every comment and thread where users expressed concern about the possibility of Age Verification in CachyOS. Yesterday: The Lunduke Journal reported on CachyOS for the first time. Today: CachyOS team says that “Lunduke lead his masses of racist radicals” to travel back in time to force CachyOS to censor users. They didn’t want to censor their users who oppose Age Verification! EndeavorOS has made two statements which suggest, rather strongly, that their "Arch-based, terminal-centric" Linux distribution will not be implementing Age Verification functionality. "Besides the fact that [Age Verification] goes against FOSS fundamentals, we simply don’t have the manpower or resources to take on this near-impossible task." Garuda Linux, an Arch-based distribution, has joined the “No Age Verification” club. At least for now. “Garuda Linux will not implement any age verification measures, since Garuda Linux’s legal jurisdictions have no laws mandating age verification.” “If California law enforcement has a problem with that, they are free to block Garuda Linux’s Website in California. We have no obligation to do that ourselves.” However, if laws are passed in their country (Germany), Garuda has stated they would likely comply. “We have to be realistic here. The Arch Linux Core Dev Team is asking r/ArchLinux sub-reddit mods to censor people unhappy with Age Verification in Arch. It appears that Arch Linux considers criticism of Age Verification to be a "Code of Conduct" violation. From an r/ArchLinux moderator responding to a censored user: "I got a DM from much higher up the chain asking me to remove it. Whilst I technically don't answer to them, I do respect their wishes. They don't like someone they consider as part of the core dev teams being called out like that. What you did broke the Arch Linux CoC."

Here we see two high profile Open Source people (Red Hat & GNOME) discussing the problem with what they call “MAGA/Linux”. Discussions like this have been increasing among Open Source organizations and projects lately. They are very upset that “MAGA/Linux” is “gaining traction”. What, exactly, is “MAGA/Linux”? The definition seems vague, but you’ll see words like “XLibre”, “Lunduke”, & “OpenMandriva” regularly associated.
