Stopped to chat with Alipate from Sigatoka. Alipate is a plastic bottle collector. He collects all day every day and cleans the bottles up for his sister who sells juice at Suva market. Awesome. Thanks also to Eldon Eastgate for delivering a supply of refuse sacks #litterrun
Monday morning litter run always the busiest. 55 plastic bottles in 0.8kms between Ratu Sukuna junction and Albert Park recycling bin. Positive was that two people handed me bottles for the bin bag #litterrun

Sad to say the amount of litter in the river is a lot worse than I imagined. Pulled out one bag full of plastic bottles, a paddel racket, and a packet of condoms 🤦♂️. I'll go back next weekend and bag some more.
