Great to see improvements to Lochside trail between Quadra and McKenzie are complete. Thanks @crd_bc staff for the work and everyone for their patience. #Saanich #LochsideTrail
If, on Labour Day
the dragonfly
sees his shadow...
does that mean
six more weeks of summer?

If I was being pedantic about #Saanich geography at tonight's @saanich Council meeting, I would point out that the #GallopingGoose does not cross Quadra St. Not even close. The #LochsideTrail, however, certainly does. π
IF I was being pedantic, that is. π
#bcstorm #yyj Blenkinsop Connector at Blenkinsop Road; a bit of localized flooding along the part of the Connector through the fields. Connector to Uptown...some of the ditches are filling alongside Lochside Trail so watch for water on commutes home. #thegoose #lochsidetrail
Solid day looping south #Vanisle on my @TrekBikes #checkpointalr5 . I used the @TCTrail from #Cowichan to #Victoria where I then used the #GallopingGoose to #LochsideTrail to hop on 2 @BCFerries rides as I returned via #SaltSpringIsland . Vancouver Island is amazing 4 #cycling
Some crows harassing an unflappable owl on the #LochsideTrail
Glorious bike ride along #LochsideTrail #yyj stopped in at a favourite place of times past. Little green tree frogs used to live in the forest there. I can see my brother on the pitching mound, Dad giving signals down the first base line and Mum diligently taking her own stats π
@SarahFrumento I don't have any of the above, but how about these plump and pretty #snowberries that I found on a recent walk along #LochsideTrail in #Saanich?
The skies over #Saanich were entertaining today!

TR: cotton puffs over the @saanich Municipal Hall.
BL: rain falling over #KnockanHill, from #LochsideTrail.

Wildflowers in bloom, including my favourite sea blush. The beautiful results of hundreds of volunteer hours to remediate this #garryoak meadow alongside the #lochsidetrail.

As a cyclist who enjoys riding the #lochsidetrail I am thrilled to see the renovations complete. Thank you!!
Morning commute reminder! The Swan Lake trestle is done early and so smooth! Initial reports confirm it is a much easier ride on the body and the bike! #Saanich #YYJTraffic
Came across this on the #LochsideTrail yesterday. I'm guessing it's a #tinyhome on (bike) wheels? The artwork on the exterior is impressive - appears cut out of tape in the various shapes. #yyjarts #publicart #homeiswhereyourbikeis
Kudos to the @BC_EHS @apbc873 crew that had to pack in gear and stretcher down the #LochsideTrail in #csaan to access a patient this afternoon. That was quite a hike, even if all in a day's work. #notaneasyjob
