Sometimes axillary vein anterior wall is too complacent. If you know exactly were your needle tip is, apply little pressure or twist the syringe a little as @50wattdoc first proposed. It helped me in some cases #EPeeps #ultrasoundaxillaryfirst #axillaryfirst #longAxUS #POCUS

Upgrade from dual Chamber PPM to CRT Pulse generator hiding the Axillary Vein. Only Axillary Artery visible. This time i'll have to open the pocket before the puncture. #EPeeps #ultrasoundaxillaryfirst #longAxUS #POCUS

Watch out #cephalicfirst peeps, #ultrasoundaxillaryfirst and #longAxUS are gaining traction! To add to this, the 1st and 2nd wires also do not affect the 3rd puncture visualization either in BiV cases! @EPeeps_Bot @DoctorPhillEP @ALFIEEP1 @adcaTicTocDoc @srissundaram @Firaszahwe

@ALFIEEP1 @FYang_EP I can show you a way with no dye, no X-ray, and venous pressure doesn’t matter since you can watch the needle enter the front wall 😉 (but you do need an ultrasound probe and sterile cover 😁) #longAxUS > #cephalicfirst
