I love being a PlayStation fan. ๐
There's so much negativity out there these days, and I give Sony a lot of shit when they deserve it. But I truly love the games, the consoles, the community, and the developers. #LongLivePlay #Another30Years

Herman Hulst with Shu taking over as his 2nd in command is the move for getting @PlayStation back to #LongLivePlay & the original era of #GreatnessAwaits. Trying to bring it back with no meaning behind it recently was a flop. For years something I always said was that PlayStation's Marketing Team was leagues ahead of the rest. This past 2 years or so, I have not understood any of the choices. Seeing Jim Ryan mention recently that #PlayStationHome was ahead of its time got me thinking. Is this just him saying this or does he really feel this way & enough to finally bring it back... The one that I would like to hear talk about this is @yosp. whether the big flops are Jim Ryan's fault or not & if he should be replaced is not for me to say. What really grinds my gears is when PlayStation has had behind-the-scenes groups of loyal long-time players under NDA that they could go to at any time and do AB tests on ideas and ask what players at different engagements, ages, etc. what we really want from PS but to see them terminate not one but two of these groups in the past several years to me is a huge red flag that PS really doesn't care what players actually want any more, they want to instead try to tell us what we want and what we are getting which is not the PlayStation from the PS4 and even the Mid to late PS3 era. I guess this topic sorta gets me a little pissed off and it's because PlayStation has still done well even with its blunders but imagine how great things would be if they had the right people in place and used all tools available, they would be doing even better.
I enjoy gaming on PC, and Nintendo and even enjoy a few xbox games if they can be played on PC but PlayStation games have a different feel, they just hit differently so it is still where I prefer to play when there is a choice. Knowing that they could be doing so much more for the players is what makes me mad.
Sorry for this long post.

I enjoyed as much as I can from my Switch and I am thankful for that. I have faith in Nintendo and hopefully they bring us even more great games. #LongLivePlay!
