In my opinion, "critical reflection" is the most important academic term. It helps us set goals and use past experiences to consider future actions while contemplating genuine connection of our thinking. It is critical for teachers and students alike. #MAT6302 @UCA_TJohnson

Right now "metacognition" is the most important academic term to me...learning becomes more successful when students use it. They can move into new concepts more easily and learn how to overcome their own limits. #MAT6302 @UCA_TJohnson

Understanding is the most important vocabulary term. Without understanding students just memorize facts/other information temporarily. When they understand concepts they will be able to explain it in detail and carry out what ever the task is thoroughly. @UCA_TJohnson #MAT6302

Critical-thinking skills is the vocabulary term/phrase that stood out to me. One common theme throughout the student-centered learning models is empowering students to think for themselves, and critical-thinking skills are fundamental to this. @JessicaRae929 #MAT6302
