My first crypto trade ever: I've bought two #MBT_F contracts around 63550 BTC equivalent. Big money baller here... @saylor, look out, here I come.
The setup is straightforward. See quoted post below. Technically, we have:
1. Big flush on Feb 5, testing the early $IBIT buyers (see my post about that from that day, here: https://t.co/BKzwXjYf5B )
2. A wick below that low in early June, washing out the longs who had celebrated too early. Heavy volume print.
3. Two weeks ago, the lowest weekly print and close in nearly 2 years. $IBIT volume fairly heavy.
4. Last week, one more slightly lower low, closing positive.
5. Saylor tells everyone he sold a few thousand bitcoin, market panics, recovers and presses higher over the next few hours.
In short, an exhausted seller's market which has been completely unable to hold below 60k, which has panicked previously on a Saylor sell, which has now showed a character shift by buying after a similar event of a much larger magnitude. Narrative and technical align enough for me to dip my pinky toe in.
The premise is totally wrong below 57k. That's a good stop. A "cheap" stop below 60k would be tempting for many, but that risks getting punked out on a fake back below 60k, where no doubt some stops rest. So, the correct stop IMO is below 57k.
A take-back of the high of the big weekly flush bar would be a reasonable upside target, which puts us right at Saylor's cost basis of 75k. Above that there's the ATH AVWAP which has been a beautiful reference on the way down (yellow line).

This is actually a great test for the market.
The bitcoin market seems to have finally found a minor pain point for Saylor. Not capitulation in the least: this sale is less than 0.5% of total holdings. Tiny. But, it's a far cry from "sell your kidney" level HODLing.
Given this, how the market responds to this will finally actually tell us something. If we drift towards the low and extend below $57k, that says that the status quo is in play. If it has trouble going lower, despite this presumably negative sentiment hit, that says a LOT, and I would interpret this as meaning that a tradable low ("investable low" might be a stretch) has been put in.
Disclaimer: I'm not a crypto guy, just a market guy. Would love to hear what an actual crypto guy like @Trader_XO thinks about this take.

The Bitcoin May Mayhem Continues
Investors and traders have been dumping Bitcoin futures #MBT_F like the candles owe them money. The May monthly rout didn’t tap the brakes overnight either. From the monthly highs, Bitcoin is now down 11.74%. Fast moving averages are crossing beneath the slow moving averages like traders are handing out bearish signals at a yard sale.
