She's renowned for designing high welfare slaughter contraptions and working with mega animal processing plants alongside McDonalds, Burger King, & Whole Foods! A whopping 50% of the cattle in the U.S. & Canada are "handled" in equipment Grandin has designed for meat plants, including our own!
Other professional activities include developing animal welfare guidelines for the meat industry and consulting with companies on animal welfare.
We've followed her guidelines to a T! So why wouldn't Temple sign our brochure? It's simply because she's afraid of the VERY SAME persecution we face from anti-dog meat activists!
We don't fault her. It's not easy to stand up for what's right. We hope she will come visit the farm someday and see her amazing work in action.
