✅ Le EMP provengono sia dal Sud che dal Nord del mondo, accomunate dall'obiettivo di accrescere la propria rilevanza e consapevoli del valore che possono apportare.
✅ Il mutato scenario alla base del dibattito sulle EMP è caratterizzato dal riposizionamento degli Stati Uniti, dall'ascesa della Cina, da una competizione strategica e da una crescente interdipendenza.
✅ L'approccio delle EMP mira a ridurre i rischi, diversificare e perseguire una cooperazione basata su obiettivi specifici.
✅ Il risultato è un assetto caratterizzato da multipolarismo, multi-allineamento e aggregazioni in gruppi ristretti.
✅ Le EMP possono elaborare un'agenda ampia e inclusiva, contribuendo così a un multilateralismo riformato.

✅ EMPs are from Global South & Global North, united in their goal of being more relevant. They are conscious of what they bring to the table.
✅ The changing landscape which drives the EMP debate is of a repositioning US, rise of China, shaper competition and greater interdependence.
✅ EMPs’ approach is to de-risk & to diversify, and pursue agenda based cooperation.
✅ The resulting outcome is of multipolarity, multi-alignment and small groups.
✅ EMPs can develop a broad-based agenda that will contribute to reformed multilateralism.
