I feel like students need to know themseleves before they really understand the mulitude of ways that they ¨other¨ others in the community. More focus on their own identity could help spur this understanding. #MWTGC

So many resources out there already to teach global competence. Everyone needs to check out Global Kids! Their program is so inspiring! Giving so many kids a true voice! Getting students interested in global issues can make such a lasting impact. #MWTGC

More than a few times in our discussions and readings have been the idea that we should intentionally teach the *skills* students need to be global citizens. I think that is so important and often overlooked. #MWTGC

Students in the Global Kids program get to investigate, do research to learn more, share their ideas, own their positions, and reflect on what other kids have done. The importance of multiple perspectives is real to them as they look at and analyze multiple arguments.#MWTGC
