Great article from Purism about the state of the Mac and how Big Tech is bringing smartphone-style restrictions to desktop computing. Thankfully there's an alternative: software like Linux that puts us in control. #MacOSBigFail #MacOSBigSurveillance

When a certain @appimages developer kept on arguing that @openSUSE should provide a more Mac like experience is this what he meant?
We’d have to do a lot of work to recreate that kind of behaviour....

I got this on my laptop, but OK now. #macOSBigSur ... suggested hashtag that popped up #macOSBigFail 🤣 And, I hope it’s not #macOSBugSur 🐛🤔😂
So, why are you still using a #mac?
Oh, maybe because the status it gives you is more valuable then your #privacy?

tldr: Macs now send Apple unencrypted info about when, where, and what programs you're running. VPNs don't cover you here.
I think this seals the deal for me. Never an Apple product again until they _actually_ respect privacy.
#macOSBigSur is horrible, the ugliest iconography so far in an Apple product. It's all over the place. @Apple WTF?! 😳😖

I'm done with @AppleSupport ... It's been a week trying to solve an issue with iCloud drive, and no "engineers" is able to find a solution.
The space manager indicates 57GB of files while it's actually empty.
Worst support experience...

#BigSur just turned my near $5,000 office laptop into a 16'' #ipad. Are you for real #Apple ? #MacOsBigFail
Sorry @Apple aber #macOS Big Sur ist ja mal noch sowas von buggy … hättet ihr lieber mal mit der Veröffentlichung noch etwas gewartet. Sowas bin ich echt nicht von euch gewöhnt #MacOsBigFail
Don't you just love seeing your background image on the corners of your screen? Thank you rounded corners #MacOsBigFail #Apple
The start of it is as innocent as always. Let's see if the #MacOsBigFail hashtag is well reasoned. #macOSBigSur
Some disappointing news regarding telemetry in macOS Big Sur. This furthers my resolve to switch to Linux and FreeBSD full time once macOS Mojave stops receiving security updates. #MacOsBigFail

Upgrading macOS can sometime be a pain in the a**. Trying to download 12 GB of Big Sur update on a 15 Mbps connection and in the end it fails. Imagine the agony.

Basically it's just a transformation of the look and feel into iOS.
iOS devices are touch screens and Macs are not.
The Touch Bar is not enhanced properly in the new update. Disappointed!!
