Group leader of the #LiberalDemocrats at #Cardiff Council, Cllr Rodney Berman said: "This is not, I think, acting in the best interests of what the trust was set up to achieve" and added that the swap only "provides convenience for one group of people" in a particular area.

@Merryse235 @cardiffcouncil @cathayschris Such a densely populated area. This is why we're determined to keep one of its few green spaces - the #Maindy site. Given to the people of Cardiff in 1922 by the Bute family for park and recreation. Don't demolish the #velodrome or build on the rest of the site @cardiffcouncil!!
