Bengaluru's STRR update: Nearly 20 days after its inspection on September 1, RDSO flagged three additional observations on the girder.
RDSO also said Railways must inspect girder before seeking RDSO inspection.
NHAI's contractor is now rectifying the issues.

RTI response π. Per Para 4(b), I think what happened is:
1. Sep 1: RDSO inspects. Workers told corrections. They did so by Sep 10
2. Sep 19: Official comm from RDSO to NHAI for corrections
Seems NHAI needs to respond with "done".

Bengaluruβs STRR status: RDSO, Lucknow, conducted its inspection on Sept 1.
NHAI is now awaiting final inspection report from RDSO for further action regarding launching girder.
NHAI had received line-block permission from SWR from September 1 to 6 for the construction of temporary foundations. All four foundations for temporary structure arrangement were completed during this period.

North, South scaffolding raised half height and will reach full height only when line block is granted.
Essentially, workers again blocked!

Promises made. Was implemented for a little while. 11 years later - things are worse than it was then. Container trucks are sharing road space with school buses and cars.
Interstate trucks should be taking NH 648 to reach Hoskote from Attibele, than going through densely populated SH 35.
